A place to hang your hat...

I really enjoy seeing what other people have done, are doing to their homes. I love the way personality shines through in the colors they choose, or the fixtures. I love watching the home make over shows and seeing what's possible out there. From Alex's humans bathroom project to leaner and dacheese new paint jobs, it's so fun to see what a difference one can make in their home. After 2 years of hard work we finished the majority of our house projects. After renting for years, I am still amazed after I've been away for a day, to walk in the front door, and say "I'm home"
PS. Pico and Mickey waiting to greet you when you walk in the door
Pen-nut:note the piano, its not the baby grand, but it's shiny!

I love the room, and of course the piano fits in perfectly!!! Of course, I still think you could have put a baby grand in there. LOL

Loving that green!!

First thought was that I wish my livingroom walls were that dark a color. Maybe then I wouldn't be sitting here dreading the fact that I have to repaint one of mine.. (not because I don't like the color it is, but because the freakin cats, who I'm not loving so much right now, knocked a glass of wine off the coffee table this morning and it splattered all over the floor, the couch, the wall, and me!!)

Second thought is that your ceiling light is almost the same one I have in my bathroom. We have good taste!! :)

beautiful. I too love checking out other people's styles. I am actually starting to feel that way about our downstairs, when you walk in and feel "WOW! This is MINE!" The chair rail in interesting, but very cool.
LOVE IT! Maybe someday we'll see if in person! LOL

So what exactly is a chair rail because I'm feeling quite stupid. Is it the funny molding in the middle of the room? Because that was actually here when we moved in. I do think it adds character though
