The picture you'll never see...

A couple weekends ago, at bedtime, bad decision on my part, I made the kids get all spiffied up so I could take their picture for the Christmas card. Well it didn't work out as planned. Kasey was very uncooperative. And the other kids smiled funny or made funny faces, the lighting was bad, the whole thing didn't work out. So after taking 20 pictures I gave up, and decided we would not be sending out photo cards this year. Oh well. This whole month is so filled with fun stuff, and I'm really looking forward to it. Programs, band and choir concerts. Christmas stroll this weekend (ladies night out, hooray!), and fun in AZ. We got our house all adorned with the Christmas trims. And only broke to ornaments in the process. Kasey is feeling awfully tempted to touch the presents, but she's been good not too yet. My fear is one morning I will awake to the sound of paper ripping and little giggling. This morning I awoke to Fake snoring and a nude girl laying in the hallway. So, no telling. I don't know what I was thinking wrapping them all already. I think I just wanted to enjoy Christmas time a little here before we head down to the desert. So I think we are ready for the big holiday. I know the kids are.

Good intentions! Maybe if you used the natural light that the DAY has to offer, you would have gotten some good photos. That's what you get for trying at night ;)

We have our decorations up in hopes of getting some good photos too. My friend, who is starting a photograpy business will be coming by to take photos of us all. I was looking through our closets last night to see what kind of decent clothes we have for photos. We will see if we get any photos that are worth sending out!

Good talking to you yesterday. I can't wait to hear how much fun everyone had in AZ! Clint keeps asking me if I'm jealous that he will be there w/ out me. I think I would be if he was going to be w/ friends, but w/ family, I know so much good comes from it and I usually benefit from it as well.

So when are you coming? Is it possible we can get together?
