Little Things

When I was a kid I took part in the DARE program, which is not only a drug resistance program but also deals a lot with self esteem. The part that really stuck with me was a game we played where we all wore a paper on our backs, and everyone else wrote some anonymous comment on our backs. It was so nice later to read what the other kids liked about me. It made me feel of worth. I didn't know who had wrote what, but it was nice that every one could think of something positive to say about me. Now 20 years later I would like to spread it around. So lets call this game the Little Things game. You all have one week starting today to think of something positive about the people within our blog family (the peoples blogs that you read on a regular basis). Once you've thought of something post it anonymously in the comment section of their last blog. Sometimes the greatest things can come from the littlest things.

Okay so I didn't notice how many of you have anonymous comments blocked. But do it anyway!!! It's okay to know.

So, it's not anonymous. Really doesn't matter.

You are special because I watched you grow up, and even though now you are miles away you have tried so many times to help create a sense of family with those of us who can't see you on a daily basis. Those of us who have missed out on the past few years of your life and now only get glimpses of the amazing kids you are raising.

Thanks tif-do for sharing the love.
