Fun with the Family!!!

I had a terrific weekend with my Penny and her children, oh and Mont of course. We went to the local park, a museum and on a picnic with mom and dad. It was great to spend time with family. I really needed it this weekend, because this not having a husband around thing is a little harder than I thought it would be. The first day he leaves I feel like crawling in bed and staying there feeling sorry for myself. I know it will get easier with time, changes always do. In the meantime I will just try to stay very busy. And once school starts I won't have a minute of peace to even think about it. But back to the origin of my story, it was fun to see the cousins spend time with each other, laugh and play, and be silly together. There is some common grounds that makes it so easy for cousins to fall right into being friends, and I love that.

cousins are the best, and you are one of the best cousins! :)

I am looking at 6 months w/o a husband coming up next year. SO not looking forward to that. I feel your pain. Will was gone for 10 weeks w/ basic training and 2 weeks for training last summer. Then there was this most recent 5 days gone thing. It is always harder. You don't know how much you rely on your darling hubby, until they are actually not there. And you don't notice the things they actually do (ok, so we all know they do bad things- leaving the toilet seat up or whatnot, but they do little things, they take care of stuff and when they aren't there to do those things! It is a shock!)

Ok, I think I am done babbling now. I just wanted you to know that I feel your pain! I am so afraid that Will is going to be deployed and gone for 15!!! Months, and when 5 days is so hard, how will I handle that?!

I always had Jason though we never spent a lot of time we clicked every time. With me and Cara it was different we never seemed to have that cousin connection until she moved in with us for a month. I am glad they got together.
