DOG-Gone

For all of you that think I'm crazy don't read this post, it will just add to your proof of my insanity. When we went to my moms a couple of weekends ago, I watched with much enjoyment my little Chilli-dog play happily with their lab. They played and played and played. When we came home, my little Chilli-dog sat sadly around with no one to play with. She honestly looked like her heart was broke, or she was bored to death. So that was when I made the decision that she needed a friend. So I scoured every newspaper in Montana to find her one. Kenneth decided he would like a lab, do to their great reputations, and the 2 mom has had have been super good dogs. So Friday afternoon we drove up in the mountains to look at a litter of 11 pups. I don't know how you ever pick out of that many to choose, they all looked identical. I told Kenneth to call them and see which one came to him. That didn't work because the black ones came, and we wanted yellow. Finally we picked a couple of them up. One instantly jumped down and ran off, and the other stayed contently in our arms. That's when we knew she was the one that belonged in our family. So we brought a new little friend(soon to be very large friend) home for Chilli and for us. Her name is Sparky. On another note completely little Chilli dog got spayed on Tuesday. I'm not sure if she looks so sad in the above picture because of that or the new puppy.

That little yellow puppy looks like he is already up to something! Labs are a handful but I am sure your kids will use up its energy.
