Every January-March I read and read and read until I need a break... It's cold and honestly reading is such a break from the reality... sometimes it really gets me through the yucky months of cold Montana. I just finished the fourth book for January and before I completely forget what they were even about I thought I would say what I think...
1. Wednesday Letters by Jason F. Wright... very sweet book. Family, Love, Forgiveness... a very light read but uplifting and leaves you feeling happy....
2. Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult... Once I started this book I couldn't put it down... Intense in the least expected ways, up to the last page where I literally dropped the book. Left me saying "what the heck." Such a sad story, but I still couldn't put it down.
3. Midwives by Chris Bohhalian.... This one I really had a hard time getting in to. Although well written I felt like I was told the same thing over and over and over.... although just like Plain Truth when I got to the end I said "what the heck?" and was glad I stuck it out and read the whole story.
4. Raising Hope by Katie Willard.... Light lovely read, really not a huge storyline, but a nice break after the last two I had read.
