nothing says I love you like a big jar of pickles

I don't know what you think of when you see a big jar of hot pickles (I probably don't want to know what some of you think), but I think love. Yes Love... the warm fuzzy kind of love. The Love that's been built on memories and thoughtfulness. Now I'm sure your all wondering why pickles... why Tiffaney why pickles??? Well back in the day... many many years ago, when we were just a young married couple with a itty bitty baby boy. We lived in the ghetto. Well maybe not the ghetto, but not a very nice area of apartments. The kind of place that you go back to ( and yes we did last year, and it was scary) and say "wow we lived here!" Anyway... on the corner from the scary apartment was a store (a corner store). They sold subs and snack food... but my favorite thing they sold was hot pickles. Yummy. Kenneth would often go on a pickle run for me. Like I say Yum, Yum! Such a nice hubby I have. At the time I wanted so much more than what we had, but looking back at it, I'm so grateful for those times in that apartment.
Last night Kenneth brought home this big jar of pickles, said he saw them and thought of me. I can't help but fall in love all over again. All because of a jar of hot pickles.

Ah, sweet. Pickles mean happy times with Hairball and childhood to me. Maybe not HOT pickles, but now my mouth is salivating for some pickles. And wouldn't you know, I don't have any?

That was sweet of him. I have never had a hot pickle but now you have made me curious. I think I might need to try one.

pickles - hot or not - remind me of movies and popcorn when I was young. We always bought a pickle and big bag of popcorn then watched the movie. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it.
